Asheville/Buncombe CROP Hunger Walk - October 11th, 2009

In communities across the U.S. friends and neighbors are putting their caring into action through the CROP Hunger Walk. By participating you can 1) Feed the Hungry, 2) You can provide disaster relief, and 3) You can shelter refugees.

Family Fun Day at the Ramble, Sunday Sept. 20th

Family Fun Day at the Ramble - 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. Sunday, September 20th, 2009 This event is being organized and run by the Real Estate Community as a way to raise funds as well as awareness of volunteer and advocacy opportunities through United Way. There are tons of things to take advantage of at this event -

Bike ride and a fun run

Horticulture class with Amy Fahmy and Going Green with Josh Dorfman (T.V.'s The Lazy Environmentalist),

Music by the Scenic Roots and the Caribean Cowboys - the works.

All at the Ramble.
